Fall is like my "New Years". I get into a groove - cleaning the house, getting more organized, setting goals in both my personal and business life, and figuring out how to keep up with it all. On the business side of things I have been working on so many amazing things that I should definately be sharing with all of you! There are sooo many new images to post, new products to show and talk about, a brand new kind of session "escapade" that I am offering and to top it all off there are several wonderful events that are planned!
For now I will share a few images from an "escapade test shoot" that I did this weekend! For info or to book a session head over to the website www.shoestringphotography.ca. You can get all my contact info there :)

BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!
Well I haven't been keeping up with my blog but I do have a very good excuse...I mean several good excuses. I'm now back and wanting to posts all my sessions at once but thought maybe you wouldn't look at them all if I did it that way. So how about I post 1 per day until I'm all caught up? I'm not promising but I'll sure give it my best!
This following shoot I did at the end of August. This family was wonderful in spite of me delaying their shoot by several minutes. Here's what happened.... I show up to our meeting place ready to go, turn on my camera and it doesn't work! I'm a professional photographer, I need my camera to work! I have no idea what is wrong, I start to panic (inside my head of course) and then remember my friend has an identical camera to mine - yay for friends who watch your four kids and bring you their camera in a time of need. Thank you Shannon! Anyways, after having a camera that works in my hand we walk and by walk I mean chase this little guy around the park. The only time he stayed still is when we put him up on the window ledge! I love kids with energy, their smiles are genuine and they give me a good work out!

Rock Star Chyks
These 2 little rock stars needed a photoshoot as unique as them, so we grabbed a guitar, feather boas, and a microphone and headed down to the park to rock out in the gazebo. I love when moms have ideas and props to make their shoot what they want it to be, so it is personal to them. Thanks rock stars, let me know when your debut album comes out!

Triple the Fun!
I really admire this family. They are always so happy and calm when I see them. I can somewhat relate to a house full of kids but there is only about 2 years in total between these 3 little boys - I can only imagine what it must be like and what it will be like in a few short years how busy this mom and dad will be.

Mother, Daughter Photoshoot
This little girl was so full of energy - makes you wish you could bottle it up and sell it - I'd be rich! I think it is very special to have photos of parents with their children. Your kids will cherish them as they grow older. Alot of times we as mothers want to remember our kids but forget to be in a few pics ourselves. I know I'm always the one behind the camera and looking back I wish I had a few more of myself with the kids - at least to prove I was there!

Sneak Peak
I love this family! I can't beleive how everyone cooperated with me for this photoshoot. I have four kids myself and they are not the most fun to photograph in a group. These guys just followed me around the city with the promise that the next stop just may be the park.

These boys were one of my families who took part in my Spring Mini Shoot. They were so polite and nice, it was a real pleasure to work with them.
