I'm just heading to bed so I'm going to make this short and sweet. This little guy was (if I'm remembering correctly) 9 days old at the time of his session. I love being able to book a session within the first two weeks after baby's arrival - we're more likely to be able to get the sleepy newborn poses that are just so precious.

BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!
Well I haven't been keeping up with my blog but I do have a very good excuse...I mean several good excuses. I'm now back and wanting to posts all my sessions at once but thought maybe you wouldn't look at them all if I did it that way. So how about I post 1 per day until I'm all caught up? I'm not promising but I'll sure give it my best!
This following shoot I did at the end of August. This family was wonderful in spite of me delaying their shoot by several minutes. Here's what happened.... I show up to our meeting place ready to go, turn on my camera and it doesn't work! I'm a professional photographer, I need my camera to work! I have no idea what is wrong, I start to panic (inside my head of course) and then remember my friend has an identical camera to mine - yay for friends who watch your four kids and bring you their camera in a time of need. Thank you Shannon! Anyways, after having a camera that works in my hand we walk and by walk I mean chase this little guy around the park. The only time he stayed still is when we put him up on the window ledge! I love kids with energy, their smiles are genuine and they give me a good work out!

Play Ball!
I know what you are thinking....I must be an amazing photographer to get this little guy to look right at the camera and smile for every single shot...but....it was all him. I just had to snap these wonderful smiles, then move on to the next shot. Don't get me wrong I love making super weird faces, making all sorts of animal noises and my most favorite of all - fart noises to get little ones to crack a smile but this little boy must be taking some side classes as a baby model, cause I don't think he was fussy or shyed away from the camera once.
